RIWA KartenApp

RIWA KartenApp is a mobile mapping client built for users of the modular RIWA GIS-Zentrum, designed to bring geospatial base and asset data into the field. The app displays vector layers, orthophotos and WMS-backed maps together with object attributes—for example trees, sewers, water pipes and playgrounds—so field staff can inspect, measure and record information on site. RIWA KartenApp supports online and offline use, GPS positioning, user-specific geo-notes with photos and voice recordings, and synchronization with the central GIS server to keep data current, allowing teams to leave paper plans behind.
