BiteSignal is a utility for detecting nearby Bluetooth and wireless signal sources, listing discovered devices, measuring signal strength and recording observations for later review. BiteSignal runs background scans and displays real-time signal levels while letting you filter results by type and strength; the app requests only the permissions needed to perform scans and to store logs locally.

How it works

The app uses the device's available radios to detect nearby signal sources and presents results with signal strength indicators and timestamps; observations are logged locally unless you choose to clear them. Background scanning runs according to your configured interval and the app shows current signal levels in real time without sending data off the device by default.

Privacy and permissions

BiteSignal stores logs on your device and does not upload personal data by default; permissions are limited to those required for scanning and local storage and can be managed or revoked in your device settings.
