The Poker Squares app is a challenging and strategic game where players draw cards to fill up a 5-by-5 grid. Once a card is placed, it cannot be moved, adding a layer of difficulty to the game. With an AI player running simultaneously, players must strategically place their cards to create the highest-scoring hand possible within their grid. After all 25 cards are placed, the grids are scored based on the American point system, revealing the AI player's grid for comparison. This project, led by Professor Todd Neller and John Duncan from Gettysburg College ACM chapter, also features a Naive Abstract Reinforcement Learning player, making the game both entertaining and intellectually stimulating.
