Not recommended. As others before me said, the notifications just don't work as they should. Firstly, changes in light (without any object movement) are also tracked as movements. Secondly, it is a bit hit and miss whether notifications are sent to my phone, despite granting all permissions. Meanwhile, other apps allow you to turn off IR night vision, but not this one. I can't see why not, as their are instances in which one wouldn't want night vision in low light conditions.2025-05-17 14:33:53

Construtive Critism: Feasible but Needs improvement. 1. My camera's position upside down. No inversion mode. 2. Records in HD (No SD) that only records a small portion of the day. I have a 32 Gb sd card installed. 3. No Motion detection tracking, the camera should've followed the moving object option. 4. Cutting/recording have issues transferring to my phone's storage. 5. Giving 1 star since i'm unable to let my guest devices control my camera via. permissions. Earlier, multiple main devices can be used like my device, my wife's device which will allow both of us to alarm/disarm alarm in parallel. This functionality is missing in the recent times after perhaps an firmware update/app update. This is annoying. Once this is fixed, i will change the rating again.2025-05-16 14:59:18

This app appears to hijack the username and password of my YooSee video doorbell such that I can no longer access the device to receive alerts or record events on my NAS. The app needs to be running 24/7 on my phone to receive alerts which is not ideal. The app is also the only way I can unlock my gate as the doorbell is not accessible via VMS or CMS after the hijack. - Can't be used locally, even with an SD card. It must be allowed to communicate back to manufacturer in China. Analyzing the data packets, it makes upwards of 400 calls back to various tencent and other aervers in China within 30 seconds of opening the app. Furrhermore, the app copies the contents of your entire clipboard every time you launch it.
